QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

“When the guy is not in the lineup, we really miss him. We miss his speed, the way he gets in on the puck. He’s a great player on our team. He’s an important guy.

Unsustainable

I actually agree. It’s all unsustainable. At some point, even for a team as good as Boston is, the law of averages does catch up. Even a little. I would bet money on them being upset come playoff time.

But, that’s for then. For now? They’re rolling. May get them a little tired tonight, but regardless, best team in the league right now. Good test for us.

We can learn a lot from playing these guys tonight.  They're red hot and have been pretty much all season.

I think the Rangers should watch how Boston forechecks; the system in which they hem opponents in their own zone and force them into turnovers.  After the Isles scored that 1st goal last night, Boston just snuffed them out.

Also watch how Boston gets everything to the net.  Very little if any over-passing.  It's usually a shot through a screen, or one pass and a blast...from pretty much any angle.  They actually get them on net too!

I'm expecting a huge effort from the boys tonight, especially after a few days off.  They can do this!  They need everyone pitching in to win this one.

Just keep it close, want to see a solid effort tonight and not get blown out. Boston is an absolute juggernaut this season and will continue to be for the rest of the year. No shame in losing to them but would like to see the Rangers at least be able to compete with them for much of the game.

Yea only a 50 game sample size

Lol I get it. A little more than half a season is a good sample size, but they have been trending down in GF/GP. They will probably get caught offensively. Don't see them getting caught in GA though. They stand alone there.

@Keirik only a few minutes to go until puck drop, should give you enough to take care of business with the wife. Get it done bro, need a 60-min effort from you on here tonight.

Lol she’s upstairs folding laundry in her baggy pajamas with robe over it. She’s closed for business til spring I think. Lol
