You know what… I hope he lights it up for the rangers. I know the situation is sticky with him but you draft all these first rounders at some point you gotta give them a chance. Even if they trade him mid season or next let him show he’s an nhl player first. Cheap contract for this season.

I don't expect much offensive domination but he costs nothing and I do think he can play 200 feet. Whether he's Dallas Nichushkin or Colorado Nichushkin I don't know, but this is way Sevier depth than what they currently have.

After a good number of our UFAs and others depart, we are going to have quite a few roster spots to fill as cheaply as possible.  He fits that bill.  Clean slate I say.  I did dumb shit when I was 21 as well.

Totally see him as a Vatrano replacement

Disagree. Vatrano was part of the heart and soul that made this run happen. Kid never stopped skating. Im hoping him and Motte are the resignings from the UFA acquisitions.

Vatrano also shoots the puck. Hard concept to many on the team.

Didn't realize he would have to clear waivers to be sent down, I thought one-way only meant he got the same salary regardless of where he played.

Vince is wrong. 1 way means the salary is the same. If he's playing in the NHL or AHL. Has nothing to do with waivers.
