Stealing this from the latest episode of SDP. What is a hockey conspiracy you completely believe?

Mine is the lowest hanging fruit, because it's the most believable: the league absolutely rigged the lottery to award Crosby to the Penguins, who were on the verge of bankruptcy and relocation. The drawing was conducted completely behind closed doors with Bettman simply reading the "results" on television.

I could TOTALLY see that one!!!!  I actually believe it to some extent too!

You could probably make the same argument about how the Knicks got Patrick Ewing in 1985.  Although the draft was televised, you could probably mess with those envelopes by throwing the "chosen" one in the freezer, before putting it in that spinning thing they used to use.

My conspiracy theory in hockey is the refs.  I think they do their best to keep the PP's as even as possible during games.

The NHL has always rewarded teams that declare bankruptcy. They all got a generational player with a 1st or 2nd rd pick, and/or were pushed to the conference finals

yes, even the Coyotes

I believe the kachina has Bettmans nudes and threatens to release them every time something happens in Arizona.

edit: also clearly Bettman is very sensitive about his tiny pecker.

In 2002, OMHA Midget BB Finals, Petrolia dressed at least two players who played more than their allotted Junior B games. I can't name names, too dangerous, but it happened, and it cost us everything. OMHA refused to review, citing we had dressed a player with over 75 games of Junior A under his belt, I mean sure, but was it in that calander year Charlie? Was it???

Many suffered.
