Didn’t he have family issues that made him want to play in Canada in the first place? I believe he grew up in part in Winnipeg. Ottawa is closer to the peg than Vancouver? Maybe?

This makes NO SENSE. Hamonic passed waivers a few weeks back and now the Sens pay a THIRD for him?
