Especially before your time is up. Time is undefeated; we know this. But, at 34, he still had plenty of good years left in him. Just sucks.

I did. He gave me an entirely new hip.

So many 1-0, 2-1 battles. It was insane. Excellent goalie who had his career cut short by injuries. The Bruins were able to get a franchise goalie like this by giving up Andrew Raycroft. Not a bad deal.

Tuukka was a character...that game he came to the bench for an extra skater when the game was tied.....Classic Tuukka!

He's leaving near the top still at age 34.  If he were healthy, he'd stick around to 37, slowly decline, get supplanted by a younger model, and get bought out.  Sort of like someone we know.
