Especially before your time is up. Time is undefeated; we know this. But, at 34, he still had plenty of good years left in him. Just sucks. He and Henrik had some pretty memorable games against one another.

Excellent goalie who had his career cut short by injuries. The Bruins were able to get a franchise goalie like this by giving up Andrew Raycroft. Not a bad deal.

Sod16 Posted February 10, 2022 Posted February 10, 2022 He's leaving near the top still at age 34. If he were healthy, he'd stick around to 37, slowly decline, get supplanted by a younger model, and get bought out. Sort of like someone we know.
