By depth players in this case I meant role players like PK'ers, guys that do well on an energy/forechecking line. Whereas secondary scoring are those top 6 players you expect to show up on the scoreboard somewhat regularly behind your big guns. That's the primary issue the Rangers need to address right now, rather than adding depth role players, which while nice to have, aren't exactly what we need right now.

The shot clock isn't misleading at all Sam, the Rangers have barely been able to assert themselves this game, it's mostly been Seattle for large stretches. It's been all Shesty and a couple opportunistic goals.
