Everyone else is free to make their points, and opportunistically hammer it home when something shows they were right, but I'm not? Stop.

I don't know what to tell you other than the ignore button is a wonderful feature. There's like 20 other people on this board you can say this about, so don't know why you're coming at me. The rest of your post is ridiculous. Yes, I'm better than all of you and I want the team to lose, you're right. Why would you even want to read my posts anyway?

Because I am not a child, I don't feel the need to ignore people.  I don't want to ignore people.  That includes you.  I want to see what everyone has to say.  I don't care if I agree with it or not.  Most of the time I just click an emoji response and keep on reading along.  We have views we agree on and we have views we don't.  The only reason I felt like replying this time is because over the last few days its all I see in every thread.  You telling Keith the team isn't that good.  Also, why do you take everything so personally?

I think you can be happy with wins but still offer constructive criticism of wins when flaws in the team are apparent.  If management/coaches ignored warning signs, then roster fixes couldn't be made, and changes to in game strategy couldn't be made.

Oh I agree 100%.  That's just not what I am seeing.  I digress though, last thing I want is to come off like I am "attacking" someone.

What about this isn't personal LOL? You come after me publicly for the same shit that dozens of other people do, Keirik included... why not a PM? I take personal attacks personally. You're talking about me thinking I'm better than people ... you don't even know me.

Using an ignore feature doesn't make you a child. There's plenty of posts just not worth reading. All I'm saying is if you don't think mine are worth reading, I'm not offended - all good, you don't have to read them. You also don't get to scold me for doing the same shit other people do, question my support of the team, and judge me...then tell me not to take it personally...come on man.

We don't need to hijack this tread, happy to take it to PM.

The ignore feature can be a godsend. You can still see what blocked people's responses are through other people's quotes.  But the temptation to interact with them goes away due to having to talk through a third parties quotes and responses.

I gotta say though. I gotta agree with what Pete's baseline arguments are. This formula isn't going to last all season. Teams will focus on our 1 line unit PP that is responsible for the teams offense.

I'm glad they are in this position of being a somewhat inferior team, while riding the high of being in 1st place. It's not common for the Rangers to be getting these bounces.

No reason someone can't point out shortcomings and make suggestions on what needs improvement.

i'm afraid that's the formula we'll have to get used to.  We got our high-end salary eaters and the rest of the team are fill-in fodder ala Hunt and Gauthier.

They have a ton of cap space and a bunch of assets they can't keep for ever. No reason to not want to add to what IS working.

We've seen this in the past with Jagr. He and the PP that ran through him dominated for over 1/2 the season. Then teams decided to double team Jagr or have players ready to block the off wing shot.

Teams (especially good teams) will pick this team apart and figure out how to beat them.  It isn't really that hard. Don't take penalties, or focus on the shooters of the 1 line that generates the PP goals.

Come on man.  Nothing wrong with adding to what is a promising team. It's not like anyone is completely shitting on the team. Just want to make it better than it already is.

I don't get the back and forth. They are beating everyone they should be. They have trouble with their actual competition (top teams in the league). So just leave it? Why? I'd like to use this small window of opportunity to take a stab at getting to that next level.  If only for this season.

Contrary opinions are 10x more interesting than another 'Panarin is awesome' or 'Chytil sucks' post.  The discussion of Trouba has gotten so much more interesting now that people are saying what they like or dislike about his play rather than the >90+ percent 'Trouba sucks' content.
