That's inconclusive. A personal decision could still be wanting to step down before any allegations come out in public, who knows.

I would think the part that says there's nothing sinister would give everyone a good idea that their arent any sort of allegations against him.

Apparently he is speaking now, and the gist of it is that he feels the team needs a new voice behind the bench, he hasnt figured out a way to get the team over the hump.

Eh, you never really know in this day and age. Read it as nothing sinister with regards to his family/personal life, but not necessarily to do with his professional life.

Anyhow, that's a long time behind the bench there so it's to be expected. Interesting it took him to make the move and not the GM. How's his French? Maybe he's thinking of moving out East.

I give the guy credit for seeing the forest through the trees.  Paul Maurice was always a pretty classy dude.  I think I remember him being pretty tight with Adam Graves as well.

I bet he'll pop up somewhere else one day soon...

I wouldn't be caught dead in Winnipeg either, come to think of it!!  LOL

he forfeits his salary by resigning, right?

Doubt he quit without working something out.  His contract may even pay a flat some upon voluntary quitting after a certain period.  In any event, his voluntary departure is rare in this day and age.
