Do You Want Signatures Back?

They are disabled by default in Invision but can be turned back on at the flip of a switch. I left them off because I mostly found them distracting, but I can also buy the argument that they're an extension of personalities. Giving you guys the power on this one (and trying out our first poll).

I agree. Very old remnant of the way boards used to function. They're also just a big distraction. The way I see it, you should want people recognizing your avatar and reading your post for recognition, not staring at a picture. But, like I said, I'm giving you guys the call on this.

Avatars can't be turned off, but it's possible Invision will offer that as an option in future software releases.

I voted yes because I know some of you guys had them.  It really doesn't matter to me, just as long as I can read your guys' posts and see my ugly mug in my picture to the left, I'm cool!

I honestly think the board is kind of hard to read as it is right now, and adding sigs would make it worse.

It's a mix of being new, needing to get used to it, and the mobile layout being a bit tougher to read.

Same here.  I didn't have one before, wouldn't have one if it was restored.  But I always turn them off because I don't care to see them.  As long as it can be turned off then go ahead and let others who want them have them.
