Parsley
Fuck, Flyers 6 straight wins vs Rangers. With that said, let them pass them in the standings it only benefits the Rangers down the road. 4EverRangerFrank
Shatty was pretty lucky not to end up in a wheelchair from the way he flew into the boards. That looked bad but he bounced right up.
josh
This loss is on Quinn for his lineup BUT... BUT... could help then long term, with guys trying icetime to shake off the rust during a hard fought game.

Parsley
Doesn?t help the Rangers much. The west is so weak. Only 4 points from the 3rd worst record in the NHL and the worst ROW in the league. Anything is possible! Yes, I want wins especially vs. division rivals but if they lose...they lose. ThirtyONE
Great loss. Another one on Thursday would put us in a great position.
Phil
Pretty miserable game to see live. Some guy unrolled a massive Trump 2020 sign from the bridge late in the third, getting met with a mix of cheers and jeers. It was the most action we saw all night. Gravesy
At least the brilliant decision to go with 7D in order to “punish” Buchnevich paid off. A sensational L in all fairness.

There are places you can go that are very accomodating in NYC. Look for phone numbers in bathrooms. ;)
fletch
Right result, hard game to watch. Can't believe they didn't finish any scoring opportunities. Some games you are just snakebit. Hopefully, rust will start to come off, and finishing skill will come back. Geez, Kreider.

How many tourists were sitting around you? Of the tourists that were around you, what percentage were wearing black Flyers Hartnell jerseys? :)
Kevin
Missed the game but just watched the condensed game. Rangers certainly looked like they had their chances. Hayes and Kreider were all over that clip. If I'm not mistaken, the Flyers goalie is a Jersey boy. From Edison I think.

A rebuild doesn't work, and one high pick doesn't help remake a team that doesn't have any pieces in place that can become effective. Despite the shutout, I liked what I saw yesterday
RJWantsTheCup
There was a good 14 or 15 invisible players for the Rangers last night.
LONG LONG LONG TIME FAN
Held Philly to SEVEN shots over the last 2 periods; 19 total. Had 38 & got shut out at home?? Georgiev played an excellent game as did the entire team after the first 10 or so minutes. This group gets hosed many times by nobody goalies. Last nite was a perfect example. Aaah well, the naysayers got what they want; a loss at home to further the quest for the next Sid Crosby or Wayne Gretzky or Gordie Howe..... or some magical player that will singlehandedly take the NYR to the promised land. I for one, cheered them on relentlessly from the confines of me humble abode, hoping in earnest :worship: for a victory. GO RANGERS!!
Stephen
There was a good 14 or 15 invisible players for the Rangers last night. Staal was one of those players. Where the hell was he looking when Lindblom scored the GWG 1:40 into the first?
Slobberknocker
Staal could be a good piece to move if we held some salary. good second / third tier guy for someone looking to make a playoff run.
Phil
NY Chief? Maybe? How many tourists were sitting around you? A lot. Guys behind us were all from another country and never spoke a word of English all night. Of the tourists that were around you, what percentage were wearing black Flyers Hartnell jerseys? :) Trick question. Zero. 38.6% Giroux, tho. Gotta admit, I was going to ask her to see if she could reach my balls with that tongue from her seat! ....wouldda been the most action we saw all night! Hey Frank/Paddy, for the record, I did call the early goal! Ask RJ! I said as soon as we sat down, "I bet we cough one up in the first 3 minutes".
