Stephen
The acquisition of Strome is a no-brainer for the Rangers. Ryan Spooner wasn?t playing regularly and was a one-dimensional forward, strong on offense and average on defense. Strome brings the same flexibility as a center/wing and he has a better defensive upside. He is also a righty shooter, something the team sorely needs. He is signed through next season at an annual cap hit of $3.1 million so the team will have two full seasons to assess whether he has a future in New York. https://bluelinestation.com/2018/11/17/new-york-rangers-what-to-expect-from-ryan-strome/ Sent from my [device_name] using http://Blueshirts Brotherhood mobile app powered by Tapatalk

The Dude
If he can PK, and isn't a perimeter player like Spooner, I guess it's a home run. The Rangers needed a role player to take on responsibilities like PK. Apparently he's strong on the puck and will take the body. Sounds like a good fit for the teams needs. Sad how a top 5 pick of just 7 years ago is now relegated to 4th line duties. Then again at least he's willing to adapt.
