Giacomin
Rangers finish dead last in points this year, securing the #1 pick for next year. That would only secure a 20% chance (at most) at the #1 overall. The fix is in anyway. Hughes is going to Vancouver to join his brother and Pettersson for the most potent PP in the 20's. Pete
Lias Andersson will be called up before Xmas and play at a 45 point pace. By the end of the season Pete will commend Jeff Gorton for picking him at #7. Two for the price of one. Unlike some others (not you), I don't practice revisionist history. :) Ballsy prediction? Chytil is the active player on the team with the most points on the last day of the season.

Phil
Panarin is a Ranger at the deadline. I'm not sure this is really that ballsy given how much smoke there's been between the two parties this summer.

Well I was considering it to be because it means we'll be buyers. If we suck we will just wait until free agency.
Fatfrancesa
Rangers will trade their first round pick as part of a package for panarin at the deadline. Then win the lottery and watch jack Hughes go to Columbus.

fletch
Lundqvist gets traded If you're right I'm starting to suspect Chicago as a possible destination. If Corey Crawford can't make it back, 60-65 games of Cam Ward is not the answer at this point in his career.

Gravesy
I actually like the Chicago idea. Seems just about the only actual fit, provided they look closer than last year. Cap space notwithstanding.
Blue Heaven
If you're right I'm starting to suspect Chicago as a possible destination. If Corey Crawford can't make it back, 60-65 games of Cam Ward is not the answer at this point in his career. 8 players would eat up almost $60 million of the cap if they traded for Lundqvist.
