Pete
They were thinking "He's used to not winning, and is entertaining in losing".
Scott
Anyone else wondering what about Lias Andersson made them think, "this guy's a 7th overall talent for sure"? Yeah it's WAY early but my biggest fear is IF they wiff on any of these top picks. Hopefully I'm wrong about Lias.
josh
First period the Rangers dominated, 2nd was uneventful, Wild have started skating and the Rangers are gassed (again)
Phil
To be fair to him, Traverse City is about the worst possible tournament to be judging his talents in. It's designed to highlight highly offensive players and has a tendency to make defensive-oriented types look worse than they might actually be. I'd withhold judgement until at least preseason. The tournament is best for 1-on-1 players, or guys that show up for 1 play a week.
Phil
Which Andersson is not.
josh
really, none of these guys are, and thats a good thing. Even guys like Chytil and Kravtsov require smart teammates to be successful. The Rangers have been doing a great job drafting smart players. Theyre all 2 way players, with offensive potential, great team players, a ton of leaders, guys that love the game and want to be better. A little different than McIlrath,Del Zotto, Sanguinetti types of picks where they try to force something

Stephen
Give us the cup!!! We will win the cup in about five to ten years!!! Youth showed us promise in tonight's win vs MIN. Brodeur had a good start tonight. Would it be strange to have an NYR jersey with the name Brodeur on the back?
