I mean after the cross check to the ribs, Landeskog knows the puck is gone and blatantly cross checks him in the head. Tkachuk may be a dick, but there's no place for cross checks to the face.

He plays with such fucking heart and soul. You don't really see that kind of grit in young players these days. He's fun to watch. I should mark my calendar for CGY/LAK games.

After watching the video, I think this is a great decision. I love that they point out that he's not a repeat offender under the CBA rules, but they do mention his three game suspension from last year, which they note was "similar" in nature.

 

So good. I think that's a good call.

Cross checks are fine (to a point). But that second blow was directly under his helmet and on the neck. Simply can?t allow that at all. Can end a season or career pretty quickly

Yea, I guess I didn't realize that he'd been suspended before, and it's actually what Byfuglien got for his on JT. So on second thought I guess it's about right lol
