josh Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Do the UFC fighters get to train ? Cut weight? Size of cOntained area? Fight until all of one side is dead?
josh Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Alpha males don't work together Which side are you referring to?
Dave Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I'm going with the humans. There will be mass casusalties, but I'd put the over under on living humans left at the end at 35.
Phil Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 The humans win, but they take massive casualties in the process. I'm with Dave here — my guess is around 35-50 survive the encounter.
Patrick Bateman Posted August 16, 2012 Author Posted August 16, 2012 An other thing to consider is how they would react to seeing there bros get ripped apart. I would imagine them getting disorganized and going into a frenzy after seeing the first guy get his head ripped off
Morphinity 2.0 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I really think you're underestimating the sheer power of a 450lb alpha male gorilla. Gorillas win with few casualties.

Jules Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 They need to take out the eyes of the gorillas, because their punch can't crush their skull the way the ape can crush theirs. Easy.
Morphinity 2.0 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Do they know how to escape Triangle Choke Holds and simultaneous knee locks? Yes. Strength.
momentum Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 depends on circumstances and time involved...if any sort of tool is allowed like rocks or branches etc my money would be on the humans at that 10 to 1 ratio. if it was strictly hand to hand no tools im not so sure. i dont even know if a human can really hurt a gorilla with his bare hands...he would need some sort of cutting or crushing tool. I mention time too because if the humans had enough time to develop a strategy they might win even without tools perhaps. i pick the humans with maybe 15-20 surviving at most.
momentum Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Do they know how to escape Triangle Choke Holds and simultaneous knee locks? haha. gorilla would just rip arms and legs off the person trying this. or maybe just swat his head off.
momentum Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 another interesting fight: 20 gorillas vs 20 grizzlies...my money would be on the bears...
Nyrfan44 Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 another interesting fight: 20 gorillas vs 20 grizzlies...my money would be on the bears... This is a good one. I would have to go with the bears.
Puck Head Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 another interesting fight: 20 gorillas vs 20 grizzlies...my money would be on the bears... Depends on what type of bear. Are we talking a 400lb Grizzly found in the "states'... Or a 1500lb Grizzly found in Alaska?
momentum Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Depends on what type of bear. Are we talking a 400lb Grizzly found in the "states'... Or a 1500lb Grizzly found in Alaska? When I think of Grizzly i think only of the Alaskan 1000+ pound kind, I meant the Alaskan Grizzly. And just for the record 1500 pound is at the very top of the weight of Alaskan Grizzly and 400 pound at the very bottom of the lower state grizzly, normal numbers are more like 700 pound for the lower state one and 1000-1100 pound for the alaskan one. Quite a difference from 400/1500. I've shot a black bear weighing close to 400 pounds and a black bear isn't even close to a regular brown bear.

Dave Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 They tried a home invasion. I guess momentum thought he had a right to bear arms.
Pete Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 I guess momentum thought he had a right to bear arms. And legs...

Lasgest Alaskan Grizzly was estimated at 2400lbs But yes, you are probably correct that 1000lbs is more of the norm. Thus why we hunted with a 375
