Fuhgeddaboudit
I think its like $8 a tube. So it's more expensive relatively speaking. But I'm just gonna think of it as $14 a month for the razors and a shaving cream I like instead of just $8 for the tube. And who knows, maybe the tube will last me more than a month so I can get a new one every other month. I think it's only 6oz. though I wonder if it's cheaper in like Rite Aid or something, if they even sell butter
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
I'd prefer that lol. But alas, professionalism takes priority over manliness.
Patrick Bateman
I need razors with a vibrating handle and a trimming blade on the back. I'll probably just stick with gillette

High and Wide
I joined a few weeks ago. I love it. Really nice feel. The butter sample was amazing, definitely going to go that route from now on. Its cleaner and feels better afterward.
Patrick Bateman
Is the butter greasy at all? I feel like that would cause me to have breakouts
Pete
Is the butter greasy at all? I feel like that would cause me to have breakouts I don't think it's like real butter. I use this http://www.kiehls.com/Ultimate-Brushless-Shave-Cream-White-Eagle/236,default,pd.html?cm_mmc=Mercent-_-CSE-_-Google-_-UltimateBrushlessShaveCream-WhiteEagle&cm_mmc=LabeliumSearch-_-GooglePE-_-any-_-any&cse=k_google&mr:trackingCode=AA78A2AD-F96F-DF11-A0C8-002219318F67&mr:referralID=NA&mr:device=c&mr:adType=pla
High and Wide
Is the butter greasy at all? I feel like that would cause me to have breakouts Not that I remember. I only had the sample, but I remember it shaving smoothly. I didn't break out from it either, whereas I have from shaving cream.
Patrick Bateman
Is it really that much better than shaving cream? I feel like there's so many trends and gimmicks when it comes to shaving accessories/tools
BlairBettsBlocksEverything
Not sure because I not used it the once, but I felt like it was a smoother shave and it really limited the irritation of shaving. Face felt smooth after

I feel like there's so many trends and gimmicks when it comes to shaving accessories/tools It felt pretty nice TBH. But then again, it was a sample. I'll be giving it a shot when my next shipment comes.
Respecttheblue
I make my Gillette Mach 5s last a month or more, till they scratch a bit, then it's time to replace. Use my CVS extrabucks and were getting the price down. The pain in the ass part is getting someone to unlock the bloomin' razor blade case. I don't bother with shaving foam either -- just hot water. Me and the old boss agreed on one thing — use really hot water and you could shave yourself with a piece of broken glass. Might be your last shave but... [i don't shave -- I shed fur all over the place] Aside from the initial investment (razor, brush, stand, alum), the running cost on my last two months of shaving is now just under $1.00 a week, and I still have 2/3 a tub of soap and 5 blades left. Deserves a rep for efficiency. For a bloke who could use a lawnmower, that's pretty doggone good. Is it really that much better than shaving cream? I feel like there's so many trends and gimmicks when it comes to shaving accessories/tools Beginning with gels and foams, but gotta admit some hot foam on the neck and the straight blade at the local Italian barber always feels good. Vodka Drunkenski
I replace my Mach blade once the blue strip begins to fade and turn white. Usually after the 3rd or possibly 4th shave. I love shaving with a fresh blade.
