Yea I'm good, thanks. Got a little whiplash and a stinger in my neck but they gave me some good drugs for the pain. Could have been much worse I suppose.
Anyone ever had their front bushings replaced? I was quoted at $30 for parts and $300 for labor which seems absurd
$100/hr labour is on the low end here for a garage. I'd say two hours for the job minimum, that's probably fair depending on their labour rate.
I mean it was pep boys so I'm sure their prices are higher
What car, what bushings? There's not a lot of information to go off of here.
2001 civic, front bushings
Which bushings? Control arms? They just need to be pressed out and the new ones pressed in. Did you shop around at all?
It was hard to tell exactly since the guy didnt speak english too well. Would it help if I said that whichever bushings it is are forcing the wheels out of alignment? Something in there is definitely loose and making occasional noise.
After 5 years of reliable and fun driving, decided it was time for a change. Replaced the E60 550i with an F10 535i.

Well, my beautiful A3 S-Line saloon was written off when I was hit head on, on Friday 13th October

So replaced it with a 2017 A4 2.0 TDI S-Line Quattro...

Absolutely loving it, so much more refined compared to my A3
Damn, that accident looked brutal.
Here’s a 1962 Lincoln Continental convertible my dad and I restored for a client many years ago. We refurbished and touched all 62,000 pieces/parts...at least twice. Once to remove and one toner-install. This took 2 years.![]()
