Trade proposal I got yesterday, Machado/Segura for Harper/Lowrie. This dude wants to steal 2 sick keepers from me for 1 non-keeper and a stiff.

You mean Lawrie or Lowrie? Either way I don't do it as soon as I see the words "Harper" and "keeper" lol.

If he'd go for tossing in a guy like Hamels instead of Masterson I'd definitely consider it. As it is it's not a bad deal, and if you need the batting I would take it.

I took the trade. I think it's fair.

Yeah, it seems like a good deal. I'm just way too hung up on pitching the way our league is structured, but that's a pretty damn good return for Tex (who's a question-mark), Henderson (who's hurt), and Kershaw. Kershaw's the best in the league at his position, but right now so is Goldie. You get some depth with Masterson, and a great OF in Jennings. Really a pretty decent trade all around.

If you haven't picked up Dom Brown yet and he's still available, get on it.

Two nights ago he would've hit for the cycle had he not turned a double into a triple and last night he smacked another one out. Guys hitting almost .600 during this home stand and .350 since the beginning of May. If he keeps this up he will start to be looked at as a viable NL triple crown possibility.

I know two different guys who picked him up on serious money leagues. The Phil's being so mediocre makes him an under the radar guy.

What's your leagues pitching rules again? I think if I remember correctly based on the way it's setup it wouldn't be a bad trade, though Buccholz has a but more of a track record.

Rotisserie with W, SV, Total K, ERA, WHIP, K/9. But I'm 10 ahead in wins and 80 ahead in Ks. Losing Buccholz actually helps my K/9.

Yeah he's not a strikeout pitcher, though his K's are actually up this year compared to his career. I'd say do it, Brown wont sustain this pace home run I don't think but he's going to keep getting rbi's, especially now that he's up in the lineup. When Utley gets back I wouldn't be surprised to see Charlie alternating Howard and Brown at 4 consistently, depending on how well Howard hits the starter. Brown will also get all of Utley's off days in the 3 hole from this point on too.

 iPhone corrected do to don't. Blame Lindsay. I meant I do think he will keep getting them, especially since he doesn't look for home runs.

Under normal circumstances I'd probably do the Buccholz for Brown thing, but didn't you just give up your legit ace in Kershaw? How much batting help do you need? What will that make the rest of your rotation look like?

Also, an LOL moment as far as ridiculous offers go: guy offered me John Buck and Rex Brothers for Buster Posey and Jose Valverde. What?
