Great season finale. Mickey was clutch and Ray seems to be at wits end.

Amazing finale until the last 5 minutes on the beach.

At least change your shirt, Ray.

I get the symbolism...Just seems stupid.

I really loved the finale as well, but I didn't mind the five minutes on the beach. The symbolism of him finally getting his family back was palpable.

Mickey shooting Sully in the head was great, too. I could see that happening a mile away, but it didn't make it any less awesome.

I liked the premiere as an episode, but it didn't feel like a premiere — it felt like it should have been four or five weeks into this season.

You can see the writing on the wall early, though — Ray is becoming his father, and his son is becoming him, despite every effort from Ray to have that never happen.

    Agree. It was very transitional.

This season is really coming into it's own. Kinda of a weak premiere, but I'm totally sucked in again.

Definitely. Hank Azaria is so unlikeable but I love him.

Just watched it. I don't remember the last time my hand came to cover my mouth so often as I prepared for the shock I knew was coming. When Mickey says to Bunchy's friend he's got a joke for him, I almost pissed myself. I love it when a TV show can make you uncomfortable and this episode did, over and over and over and over. Start to finish, definitely the best ones they've delivered.

Same. I knew when Bunchie brought the guy in the first place it was gonna end in a meltdown. For both the obvious reason (he being gay) and because he was about to walk into a Donovan family war zone.

The scene when Micky told the joke at the party was priceless.

Just caught up. Saw it coming five seconds before it did. Didn't lessen the impact. Wow is right. Great way to flip the entire story on it's head in a single moment.

I could see her getting killed, maybe protecting the daughter. It would be a great season finale which would really open up the options for next season. It would fracture Ray's family completely. Similar to the way Brodie's family came apart in Homeland. Probably though they go a similar route, but with the cop being killed. Wife can blame Ray that way.
