I dont have experience with that particular TV, but i do have a Vizio set up in my dorm, and i love it. Granted its pretty hard to fuck up a 22 inch tv, but still.

Hands down, these two brands. Samsung has always been great for gaming, while Panasonic - even in the most standard settings - looks so crisp when watching movies or sports.

That's pretty expensive for s vizio. I'd go with a Sony a Samsung or in the cheaper range LG or Sharp.

Fyi, Samsung gets some of the worst scores for gaming out there. Input lag. Even new Samsungs aren't ideal for gaming.

(I own a Samsung. Have to to turn game mode on which washes out the entire picture to minimize this)

Samsung, have had nothing but probs, with every one I've ever had from them.
    Sharp TV's or go home.

We have a vizio from 2 years ago. Nothing special. Not a great picture, but it works as a TV.
The model posted seems to be a good step up from ours.

We also have a Phillips. Its great. We get comments about the picture all the time (combined with Verizon Fios, if that matters)

I just bought a new 50 inch Vizio Smart TV that's 1080p, 240hz, & 3D (comes with 8 pairs of glasses) for $750. I know they're not the top of the line, but I don't think you can beat those specs at the price. It's a really aesthetic TV too, got great reviews as well

Good price, got a lot better specs than I got from my LG TV for that same price 2 years ago.

I got a 42" Sharp 1080p LED TV for $379 at Best Buy a few months ago. I think that was a damn good deal. The TV is great too.

I don't really buy into that whole "Smart TV" stuff. It's old tech at this point.

Yea it's not much, but it becomes useful in cases where you have people over and you can just use your TVs pandora ap. It's pretty hard to find a TV that isn't smart these days

It's pretty much built in now for every TV, and there are always good sales on TVs that come with the smart feature.

I went to Best Buy yesterday just to browse, and really liked some of Ultra HD TVs they had.

But curve? Why is curve worth the price? 60 inch Samsung for $9k

Curve is a neat idea, but I feel like if your angle is anything but straight on it would suck

Imagine watching the Super Bowl at a party on one of those.

Get that Chromecast son! But I get what you're saying. It's another selling point for TV's nowadays and it's a shame because they're completely outdone by Chromecast, Apple TV, Fire TV, Roku, etc.

Otherwise, your TV sounds solid. Eight 3D glasses eliminates pretty much everyone's biggest complaint about 3D TV's.

Yea, I know people have poor opinions of Vizios, but I really don't think you can beat the value, and it got great views.

I actually have a chromecast and a bluray player which eliminates the need for a TV to be smart lol
