    [Non-forum related] Fantasy Hockey

I just joined my friend's league and it's a keeper league. I picked up a vacant team that has some good pieces but also some average ones. There's a salary cap of (I believe) at 13, and the prices of my players are listed below. I can keep as many players as I want, but I need to be salary-cap compliant (duh).

    The team:
    Datsyuk - .7
    Ribeiro - .8
    B. Richards - .9
    Pavelski - .8
    Dubinsky - .6
    Brown - .6
    Horton - .5
    Grabner - .6
    Steen - .6
    Voracek - .5
    T. Hall - .5
    Hartnell - .5
    Hornqvist - .6
    MacArthur - .7
    Lidstrom - .8
    Babchuk - .4
    Robidas - .4
    Timmonen - .4
    B. Clark - .4
    Luongo - 1.6
    Fleury - 1.5

The people I want to keep:
    Grabner
    Hall
    Datsyuk
    Brown
    Lidstrom
    One of Luongo or Fleury

Anyone have input on this? I'm also thinking about keeping Richards or Pavelski.

I think you should keep both Fleury and Luongo. Don't let Luongo's playoff performance blind you from his consistent fantasy stats, and playing behind one of the best teams out there. I'm on the fence with Dubinsky and Hornqvist. Those listed below, I'd dump. Those bold are no-brain drops.

    Pavelski - .8
    Steen - .6
    Hartnell - .5
    MacArthur - .7
    Lidstrom - .8
    Babchuk - .4
    Timmonen- .4
    B. Clark - .4

Wait, is this strictly salary cap league (as in everyone can have Ovechkin?)
Does the "salary" of the player change throughout the year based on performance?

No it's a fantasy league that has a salary cap. Basically it's like any other normal league but you have to have your players' salary under the cap limit. I don't believe that the salary changes.

You can easily replace Lidstroms production at that value.

Debatable. It's not easy to find a replacement for 50-55 points from the blueline when every other team is probably keeping their guy that has a similar price.

How many teams in the league? Can't be more than 10 unless everyone else in the draft is retarded.

Why do you promote yourself like that so much?

    It's pretty fucking annoying.

Genius, nobody is going to trade a good winger for a good center when you can easily find a productive center on the waiver wire
