Kraken to Select Colin Blackwell; NYR to Acquire Mark Giordano in Deal?

Kinda sucks that everything was spoiled, honestly. NHL shoulda paid those guys to keep quiet.

Thats what I was saying before... so dumb that any of the picks leaked it makes the whole thing pointless. I am sure a lot of people wont tune in now since they know who's gone from their team.

The Blueshirts are zeroing in on veteran defenseman Mark Giordano, who was exposed by the Flames and reportedly taken by the Kraken in the expansion draft. Seattle, The Post has learned, has interest in Rangers forward Ryan Strome and could be willing to retain a portion of Giordano’s salary to strike a deal.

Strome, whose production has increased over the last two seasons (108 points in 126 games) with help from playing next to star Artemi Panarin, could also be part of the Rangers’ package deal for disgruntled Sabres star Jack Eichel.

Seattle and Buffalo are just two of several teams believed to be in on Strome.

Eichel incoming.

If the Sabres were interested in Strome, why would the Rangers deal him to Seattle for Giordano and then trade for Eichel? It doesn't make much sense. I'm thinking there is something else in the works instead of Eichel.

Because then you trade Chytil + Buch + whoever and 1st for Eichel

Panarin Eichel Kakko

Lafreniere Zib Kravstov

Kreider Goodrow Gauthier?

XXX Rooney XXXX

Lindgren - Fox

Miller - Trouba

Gio - Lundqvist (or whoever doesn't go to Buffalo)

Other option is the Horvat rumor is true and there's less moving pieces.

But if the reports are true that the Sabres like Strome, why wouldn't they just do Strome + for Eichel straight away without getting Seattle involved? I think it's Horvat.

for those who can't get at the article.

Isn't Mollie Walker the one who hosts the Up In The Blue Seats podcast and spends half of it giggling about what a hockey bunny she is, without adding any serious insight to what she is discussing?

Yes.

I like Mollie, she seems to get more info than others.

I can't stand that pod cast though.
