rumor/report: ESPN Wants Gretzky in Broadcasting Role

I mean, if they want to actaully have fun, they need the guys who actually have it, not the squares like Gretzky.

 

Their #1 target should be BizNasty.

 

Biz is a bro. They don’t want that. But I agree Gretzky is a bland choice.

 

I’ll be controversial and say that I actually don’t like Spitting Chiclets at all. ESPN and TNT need to find their version of Tony Romo, Shaq, and Barkley.

It wasn't about liking Chiclets. I almost never listen either (it's the same exact format and the same five jokes, every episode). I just think Biz has a unique level of self-depreciating humor that would complement a skilled player who played a thousand+ games (Yandle).

 

If not them, just raid Sportsnet and NHL Network. Get Bieksa, Luongo, Mike Rupp, etc.

Rupp is another good choice. I can listen to his stories all day!! LOL

Luongo is a perfect candidate. I would even say Scott Gomez as well, his Instagram show is pretty funny. Kasparitis also would be good, along with Bryzgalov.
