"If you're going to make the push we need to push, you need everybody contributing. It can't just be a line, it can't just be a couple players, it needs to be everybody. Usually what happens is players take turns making a difference night in and night out. It can't just be a line or a guy."

The team that is trying to make the playoffs had better play hard and responsibly against the team that is poised to make the playoffs. Said team always gives the team that is trying to make the playoffs fits. It remains to be seen if the team that is trying to make the playoffs, has the fortitude to take it to the team that is poised to make the playoffs.

Dear Rangers Players,

I finally get a chance to watch almost a full game. Please make it a good one.

Thank You

Who's taking the kids?

I haven't watched a single live game in full this whole season. :(

The oldest's baseball game starts at 4, so definitely should be done by 7, and the middle guy has practice ending at 930p so hopefully the game is over by then. Thankfully, no baseball today for the little guy. Life is BUSY!!!

Gotta bring them into the fold, Phil.

They go to bed during the game, homie. Weekend daytime starts are only on if the weather is shit. If it's great, they're outside, burning off energy.

I usually start every game (7pm start), then do bedtime routine about five minutes into the period. By the time we're through pajamas, teeth brushing, and reading books, I maybe catch the start of the second, but on average, I watch the full third period, a chunk of the second, and a fraction of the first. C'est la vie.

Maybe it's a "they" more than a "he" thing, but mine watches the first with me (usually ends up playing for a good chunk of it), and does his bath, teeth, and bedtime routine at the intermission. I usually miss around 5 minutes of the 2nd, max.

Owen drags his feet. We start bed time at like 7:15/7:20. Bath would be before that, right after dinner, basically. If I did a bath + teeth + reading starting at 7:15, he'd be sleeping at 10pm. LOL.

Once he starts pushing his bed time out, I'll watch more of the starts, but we split bed time duties, so I'm always going to miss a chunk of every game.

Zero excuses. I don’t want to hear it. No business losing this game. Zero. None. I don’t care about rivalry or anything.

Depends on the game. I always turn it on and then leave it on MSG so when I'm putting my oldest down I can come back out and rewind to watch. If it's a shitty game, I clearly don't. LOL.

Dear Phil,

...the Dark Side awaits.... I'll be waiting! ;)
