I'll take 7 of 8 points and nothing less. We have often played to the level of the opposition, whether it's Washington or Buffalo.

 

And yes, we need to see MUCH more from Kreider, Strome and Zib than we saw in the last game against the Islanders.

 

Hope for playoff run: Taylor Hall infects Boston roster with newly discovered Buffalo virus for which no vaccine will be available for a year.

I know the playoffs is kind of a pipe dream and would be a bonus at this point, but they need to take at least three of the four games here or else forget it. They haven't looked that great against New Jersey this year, but that was awhile ago. While Kakko and Lafreniere have improved, Kreider is playing some of the worst hockey of his career and Strome and Fox are coming off some of their worst games. Overtime wins, shootout wins, whatever, just do it.

I'm aware. "A New Hope" is more appropriate, and I'm not starting a four-game swing on "Episode IV."
