Not sure why, but whether it's the Mets or the Rangers or the NY Giants this seems to be a common theme (scoring) among my teams. Atleast the Knicks can score on most nights.

I’m never giving up on my NY teams...but I have to wonder if my sports life would be better if I moved and changed sides? Geez.

Brutal 2 game set against the Red Sox the offense is pathetic.

I hope there's nothing serious with deGrom, but good weekend for the Mets and thier bullpen.

Harvey Day at CitiField.....and he's getting smacked around in the 2nd inning

What a shame about Harvey, such wasted talent. He went from future ace starter to scrounging around for a starting pitching job with the Orioles.

Yes it is a shame but he was his own worst enemy and makes me wonder if in 2015 he stuck to a innings limit after Tommy John surgery would it have saved his arm and career. When he came on the scene he was electric it was him and Noah and the rest of the pitching staff (deGrom) and deGrom has become the ace.

Brutal weekend for the Mets and now they lost Conforto and McNeil

Ugly as ugly can be. Geez!

Conforto and McNeil are both heading for the IL for 10 days. Neither injury appears to be serious, but always have to be careful with the injuries they both have.

 

In most years, this would be almost a death sentence, no matter how short or long term. Typically, we would have misfits like Eric Campbell or someone like that getting regular playing time with the abundance of injuries. It helps having professional players on your roster and off your bench, like Pillar and Villar, who are more than capable of stepping in. Obviously, they’re not Conforto or McNeil, but they are actual professionals who can do their job.

 

Hopefully they can just weather this little storm here until they’re healthy again.

The injuries continue Walker and who knows how long Pillar is going to be out after the shot to the head. At least he was able to walk off the field without any help.

That could’ve been really really bad withPillar, the fact that he walked off on his own was remarkable and the tweet afterward was even better. I feel for Jacob Webb as well, that can’t be easy to deal with

 

Man that was scary. It was said during the broadcast that the ball didn't hit the helmet...but that sound though...geez. I cannot imagine what he feels like this morning and yeah, just happy he walked away on his own.

The Mets roster is a disaster right now and Lindor has been awful so far. I've heard some Mets fans call him the next Carlos Baerga. LOL They better hope not. Baerga was bad here but they didn't sign him to a ten year deal either.

He's been bad hitting glad his fielding hasn't suffered, but he needs to hit. Nice to see deGrom back out there pitching and he looked good.

Mets - man what can you say? I figured after Wilpons left the promised land was next stop! Who had “injuries galore” on their BINGO card? Not me.

Even with the injuries, they’re still in first which is wild. Absolutely crushed the Braves tonight 13-2.

Yeah, Amazin’s are amazing

I said before the season if the Mets stay healthy they'll win 90-95 games easily. They might do that anyway despite all of their injuries, which is incredible. Imagine if Lindor can actually get going. Also, DeGrom going hard after Gibson's ERA record!
