QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

[table=width: 630, align: center]

[tr]

[td=align: center]

"What your opponent's doing and how many guys they have and how they're practicing, how many times they practice, that really has nothing to do with how we're going to approach it. It's a unique situation for everybody in the league this year. We've been very fortunate so far, avoiding a situation they're in and Philly for that matter. But we expect they're going to have a lineup that's hungry to go."

...left the door open for you there, man!!! :rofl:

What's Dominic Moore up to these days? If Drury won't get out of the office to coach these guys up, than bring Moore in for a faceoff clinic.

Where's Blair Betts when you need him?

I was gonna say, Pete Stemkowski, but this will do!!!

Craig McTavish is the perfect choice for when linesman Kevin Collins does everything he can to stop you from finally winning the cup and gives them a last faceoff in your end. McT would be a bargain. No need to buy a helmet and he's willing to have the adverts put on his head.

I'm thinking the Devils come out hot tonight after the long layoff. If the Rangers can withstand the first 20 minutes, I think we'll take these guys.

Buffalo after their 14 day layoff, came out flying against the Islanders last night and then shit the bed in the 3rd. Buffalo didn't even record a shot on goal, and they were down 3-1. I can see the same thing happening with the Devils...It would be awesome to get the jump on these guys and score a couple early ones.

Rangers are a lottery team without Panarin and Mika (who may as well be out of the lineup).

So, I think I'm ready to stop caring if they win games. So long as the young players look good, I'll be satisfied.

Welcome to my section of the party, 3-1!! Pull up a chair and pour yourself a drink! :cheers:

I love watching us win, don't get me wrong....but I think that's going to happen more towards the end of the season.

Feels like one of those games where if it's a narrow win for the Rangers it'll feel like meh, they just beat a team with COVID hangover. It would need to be a convincing win to really feel good about it. If it's a loss, yea all hell is going to break loose.

I hope they win because I can't keep reading the Quinn complaining in every thread. Not that a win would stop that...so yea, I don't care what happens here LOL.

Wouldn't a loss be better in that case? As it would mean one step closer to not hearing anymore complaints about Quinn and one step closer to him being fired (assuming that top management would seriously start to look at a mid-season coaching change if they continue to lose). A win definitely won't stop the complaining as you said lol

I don't think he's getting fired this season, regardless of outcome. There are too many variables. Zib having a bad season nothing to do with Quinn, COVID, no camp. Kakko and Fox look better, Key looks good. Quinn will get credit for all that.

Think of how long it usually takes a coach to get fired after fans complain. It's over a year.

Realistically, next season is the year he feels the heat, IMO.
