QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

"“I think it’s part of our learning curve. We have to understand situational hockey. You know, we’re up 3-1 and a lot of good things are happening, and we didn’t really understand the moment. With six minutes to go (in the second), we’re still doing things like we’re down 3-1, and it came back and bit us. … It’s part of our learning curve. We’ve got to understand, when we’re up 3-1, there’s a certain way to play. We certainly didn’t do that."

David Quinn on blowing a 3-1 lead

@G1000 - I saw what you did with the starting lineup - LOL

C'mon Rangers. Give us some happiness on a Sunday night in January. i'd like to see a second game where the boys in Blue marginalize Malkin and make him frustrated.

We like to have some fun with the lineups. Don't expect it every time, but because they all look the same, we occasionally throw a few Easter Eggs in there.

Can anyone talk about Blackwell? What's he do? Guessing Lemieux is hurt? Or did he take a scratch worthy penalty that I'm forgetting? Maybe he slammed the bathroom stall door? Rental car door? Trunk? Hotel room door? Tablet cover? A violent shutting off if his cell phone? Blink really hard?

Blackwell needs 27 games in order to be exposed to Seattle. He's gonna play games.

someone tweeted that Lemieux is not hurt. Nor is Gauthier or Johnson.

Blackwell is blah. He has some decent skills for a guy in the AHL, not good enough to standout in the NHL. He'll get stuck in a bottom 6 role and be irrelevant. More offense than the bottom 6 guys. He'll remind you as a vanilla college player that just isnt good enough to be an NHL regular.

Why does this matter (other than nonsensical social media panic)? They're not worried about not having enough guys exposed. Rooney is a few games short - that's worst case scenario.
