We're going to have some flooding, here. We have over 2ft of snow on the ground and should get a couple inches of snow between now and tomorrow.

Thanks for the rep, and kind words guys...

Rain storms aren't as excited as snow, but its worth keeping people in the loop when its going to be heavy at times. With spring and summer approaching, I'm sure they'll be less for me to get excited about in terms of weather.

As I said yesterday, atleast the weekend is looking dry with a fair amount of sunshine.

Looks like 1/2" to 1" of rain. Starting early Wednesday morning and ending sometime Wednesday afternoon. Really, a quick hit of rain.
In its wake, milder Thursday and Friday with highs in the 60s, and maybe even some 70s across southern Jerz. and southeastern PA.

That doesn't sound too bad, with good weather behind it.

Yeah, not too bad. I think it will be pouring rain at times Wednesday morning, but atleast its a quick mover. Really nice later in the week, maybe a few showers Friday night or early Saturday, then cooler (but seasonable) this weekend with some sunshine.

Overall, it could be ALOT worse this time of year.

    RECORD EVENT REPORT
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE NEW YORK NY
    http://www.erh.noaa.gov/okx/

...RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE TIED AT CENTRAL PARK NY...

A RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURE OF 77 DEGREES WAS TIED AT CENTRAL PARK NY
TODAY AT 448 PM. THIS TIES THE OLD RECORD OF 77 SET IN 1989.

    ---------------------

Cooler this weekend, but seasonable with temps. not far from 50 each afternoon with some sunshine each day.

Next week looks potentially cruddy with some rain early in the week, then COLDER later in the week and another chance of some rain or maybe even wet snow with below normal temperatures. UGH!

Out here in Pennsylvania they are caling for 3-6 inches of snow. It was 80 degreees here on Friday, now this shit.

It will be a close call for NYC/Long Island tomorrow as temperatures will be mainly above freezing, but wet snow or snow/rain mix could bring a slushy accumulation. And, I hate to say it, there may be another chance or two of wet snow over the next 10 days. It totally blows!

Higher elevations in the NE PA, NW Jersey and the Catskills in NY stand the best chance of seeing several inches of snow with events like this as colder air lurks over the higher elevations.

Yeah it hit 79 in Central Park on Friday. I was in the city for the game and had my jersey and jeans on. I was sweating like a pig. Fast forward 4 days and its 50 degrees cooler with chance of snow. March sucks! lol. Is it May yet?
