I'd rather have the 2nd round pick than the Andersson/Puljujarvi swap when all those rumors were flying around.

Honestly, I'm happy they got any value for him. I know we can all lament turning a 7th overall into a 60th overall, but the guy was clearly done with this organization. His value was only going to continue to decrease.

 

As Drew said, his father is a scout for the LA Kings, so they're probably most equipped and willing to get him to come over to NA again.
