very hard not to score there but they figured out how to pull it off!

Someone tell Chytil to either shoot right away or if he really insists on taking an hour to receive the pass to not shoot back into the side of the net where the goalie is coming from.

Man they better get one on Reimer early in the third. After all those chances, I'm going to fucking lose it if Carolina scores a garbage goals and takes all the momentum.

Not that this game is sooo important, but if we lose this Im gonna hate Reimer for the rest of my life. Annoying useless goalie turning into the best goalie ever in an elimination game.

Probably has to do with advertisement blocks. The channel sells advertisement blocks and is obligated to find time for a company's commercials during a specific block tied to a television program.

sure smells like last period of our season is coming up.

Usually, when you get stymied by a marginal dog goalie, it's not in the playoffs, because such goalies rarely play in the playoffs. Annoying.

 

If we lose tonight, it will because of our lack of an NHL worthy fourth line. Gautier turns the puck over resulting in an absurd 1:20 sequence pinned in our own end with the 4th line unable to touch the puck, much less clear it. Goal. We play three lines for the remaining 16 minutes of the period and probably the game.

It's amazing how important this third period is for the narrative of this series. Win this game, and the Rangers have to feel pretty good about their chances in game 4. Lose, and the story is how we were better in game 3, but dug ourselves too big of a hole in the first 2 games of the series.

I think I've watched maybe 4 games in the last 2 years. Glad to see some things never change:

 

-Still make backup goalies look like God

-Still don't know how to one-time

-Stars still disappear in the playoffs

 

Ahhh, classic Rangers hockey! I've gotta say though, it is refreshing watching these games with just about zero emotional attachment. If this was 3 years ago, I probably would've broken my remote watching the Reimer is God sequence lol.
