I'd agree if he were just slower but he's also significantly less elusive than he normally is. He uses a lot of quick turns and crossovers normally. That's been missing.

Come on get some traffic in Reimer's face and try to bang in some rebounds. Everything is from the outside right now. Make him uncomfortable out there.

Carolina's counterattack game is pretty good. I wish they'd get some traffic in Reimer's kitchen though and test his rebound control. They tested him a little in the latter half but that was a mostly easy period for him.

Great period just slightly concerning no goal.

Oh fuck off. Im so tired of this team making backup goalies look good. 15 shots on goal and no goals. Panarin with two huge chances and both right in the goalies glove (like every fucking shot in this series). Have someone told them go aim at the glove? Because this is getting ridiculous.

I like that they're just throwing everything on net now but have some variation. They're playing a game that's more conducive to competing against Carolina's system which is good. They're not breaking out by trying to pass over sticks. A lot more short passes followed by quick chip-ins with the forward skating around the Carolina defenseman. If they can keep that up, they'll continue to get more offensive zone time. Cycling is still going to be against the Canes though.
