phillyb Posted March 14, 2020 Share Posted March 14, 2020 The biggest thing that sucks about Trouba?s contract is that you?re not going to pay your right side 8, 7.5, and 6m each. He was not defending a teammate) He averages 1 fight a year. No one is scared of Trouba. Those qualities aren't worth $8 million. There’s nothing in his game worth $8 million per. If he doesn’t figure stuff out and really up his level of play and be at that level consistently, this signing could be a disaster. I think he’s a way better D then what we have seen, so I do believe he can and will be better. But I find it hard to see a scenario wherein they get their money’s worth. He’s one of the top 6 or 7 highest paid D in the league. Hard to see him playing like that consistently over the life of his deal. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
