Howden should have gone off the 3rd line before Kakko by the way. Talk about next to zero offensive awareness. Only capable of getting a muck goal every 10-12 games or so.

During the off-season, I continually proposed Kakko playing on the LW. Take the pressure to score, or being a go to guy, off of him. Might be worth exploring for a bit.

They did a nice moment of silence for the Pocket Rocket.

#48 has become increasingly representative in my mind of the thinness after the two superstars of this team.

With respect to Zib scoring again, this is starting to look like a Saturday morning pee wee house league, with one dominant player. There was a kid like that in my youth league (he went on to play briefly in the NHL even though he was only 5-8). Whenever he had a breakaway, the rest of his team raised their sticks before he even shot, because it was a forgone conclusion. Sort of like #93
