QUOTE(S) TO NOTE:

[table=width: 630, align: center]

[tr]

[td=align: center]

"It’s obvious on the ice what he brings, on and off the ice, to our team. When you look at what he’s doing, his emergence, we feel like he’s still getting better. And the fact that his size, his skating, his scoring ability, this combination he has with Mika (Zibanejad), his power-play ability, when you add it all up it’s a player that we’ve had in the organization a long time, and we’ve watched the strides that he’s been making. And now when you weigh all the options and having him leave versus keeping him, it became more evident that we wanted to keep him.”

No Shesty, Smith in for Skjei, CK sick, Buch maybe out. Not feeling good about this one.

Agreed Sod!! I'm not expecting a good outcome in this one....then again, I've been calling for losses for the last 2 months!!

Damn, maybe that old ass-wipe, LLLTF was right; I am a Naysayer!!! :rofl:

I like Gauthier so far; very small sample size yet, but....

Seems to be in position defensively pretty well

Has good speed through the neutral zone

I'd like to see him shoot more, when he gets the chance

Goes to the net well

Pretty good along the walls

I'll watch more tonight...Hard to watch this weekend with my foggy goggles on in the bar!!! :cheers:

I like him too. I must admit I was a big fan of Keane but having a surplus of defensive prospects makes it easier to sacrifice. He gives us some speed grit and skill on the bottom 6

Like him too

Gonna need more than 6-7 minutes a night to get much out of him. Hopefully he can pot a couple or at least generate some offense to earn more ice time.
