Big Picture; #30 is going to get a chunk of the remaining starts once Georgiev is dealt, so the making up enough points to sniff a playoff berth is a mathematical longshot.

This game was lost when ADA blew a wide open chance, recovered, passed to Kreider who blew another glorious chance.

Strome had a shit change and Dubois picked off Skjei.

A horrendous and lazy change 25 seconds from OT in a tie game on tight ice. Pretty sure he's why we lost tonight, at least in regulation. Inexcusable lack of hustle. Deserves to be up in the pressbox next game. Chytil deserves his minutes.

As bad as that was, you cannot half ass 50+ minutes in both ends. Not shooting, lazy ass overpasssing, not going to the net, not contesting entries, what ever the fuck it is Brady Skjei does in his own zone.... NYR have 2 great offensive players. When they get defensed or have an off night, they aren't going to win unless their youngsters contribute.

The Rangers played a very solid game tonight. They limited high quality scoring chances against a lot tonight. So I do not agree with your "half assed it 50 minutes" assessment. The difference was one player deciding that being lazy with 30 seconds left was a smart decision.
