There were things I loved. I thought we were quick on pucks, I thought, when there was a turnover, we were quick above it. I thought we did a good job in our own end, but again, you’ve got to do it for 60 minutes — not 40." BrooksBurner
Can't help but feel like this is a trap game, like the last two Ottawa games. The team is playing well despite the blown lead yesterday against the Bruins. Now they get one of the weakest teams in the league on the 2nd of a back to back. 4EverRangerFrank
^GIF - LOL Back to back day games with travel between? Pretty brutal. A 7PM start would have been helpful. This one might be hurtful. Still we look forward to a win. LGR!

Still we look forward to a win. LGR! I understand the NHL wanted yesterday's matinee for NBC. But does a visiting team have any say in this being a day game? Bugg
Like Kakko took a shot there. At worst faceoff in the offensive zone. Simple smart play.
4EverRangerFrank
The way he plays every shift, Lemieux deserves the $50,000 he held out for. Guy plays. No lazy shifts - ever.
4EverRangerFrank
Kakko getting more ice time with Fast in locker and he?s using it well. 2 very noticeable shifts.
Drew a Penalty
Kakko definitely looks improved but we'll see how much he can sustain. He tends to tire pretty easily.

BrooksBurner
That's why you don't take Kakko out of the lineup. He's better than a replacement on the PP, despite his 5v5 struggles.

Dunny
You don't have to be able to skate if you can play like that off the half board. Which is good, because he can't skate.
Zuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuc
Foxyyy, nice assist from Kakko. Now put him back on the 1st PP and have Panarin on the left side again.
