Rangers thinking they have this game in the bag since Zibanejad is back never show up and lose 4-1. The second of the 2nd round picks acquired in the Fox trade scores the first goal of the game during warmups while the Rangers are sleeping. He also assists on the first of the two empty net goals Carolina scores and is first star of the game. Skjei scores the second goal of the game on a beautiful feed from Aho as Aho goes around DeAngelo like he?s a traffic cone. Panarin and Zibanejad play the entire third period with all the other wings alternating on the one line. Fast scores the Rangers lone goal with 2:30 left in the game and emphatically screams I am a first line winger.

My son and I are getting on the road early Friday morning and driving to Boston ? we share your concern. Still, somebody has to represent, right?
Nobody will ever say you don't have a large set. I was at the Tampa game and despite the beating, I had a blast. Chara will probably be sluggish after he eats a 30lb. turkey by himself. So hey you never know. Hope it's a great one Frank!

I more worried about 1.) A day game 2.) The day after THXGIV 3.) VS. Boston Bruins 4.) Play said game in Boston

We should cherish this game compared to Friday.

Know the NHL wants big market teams to play matinee games like this for NBC's afternoon package. But NYR simply don't do well in matinees.

Would like to see someone punch Bergeron in the face for Mika's injury, but doubt it will happen.

TD Garden is a nice arena and Boston is a very walkable city. Sadly one time I went to a game there was the night they traded Leetch to Toronto.

Wow that lineup just looks a thousand times better with Zib back. Excited to see that 3rd line, Kakko with a skilled lineman finally.

That opens many different line combinations and here is the projected lineup for the Rangers on NHL.com

Kreider-Zibanejad-Buchnevich

Panarin-Chytil-Strome

Lemieux-Howden-Kakko

Smith-Nieves-Fast

Skjei-Trouba

Lindgren-Fox

Hajek-ADA

Lundqvist

It should be a great game tonight! Let's Go Rangers!
