Can someone explain why Howden was out there to start OT? He was 3 and 14 on faceoffs today (quickly 3 and 15). No offensive bone in his body. He shouldn't be sniffing OT. This is the kind of stuff that makes people scratch their head on Quinn sometimes.

That was a great game. Sucks they lost, but that was some entertaining hockey. Always good to see the young guys contribute.

Needed the offensive outburst because Lundqvist didn't get much help in the defensive zone. Panthers have got a lot of skilled weapons. Incidently, IMO, neither of our goalies should be playing 3 games in a row. No need to push Lundqvist's work load, and Georgiev has merited starts with his play.

Thought the same thing. Just like Georgie looked tired/not as sharp in his 3rd game, same with Hank. He didn't get a ton of help, but it certainly wasn't his A game.

I thought it was odd that Henrik played both of a back to back, but he won both by playing unbelievable in net. After 2 days off since then, I had no problem with him playing today. In fact, I probably would have questioned why not ride the hot hand after how he looked last week. Now you can make the switch back to Georgie.

I understand going with the hot goalie but I wouldn?t play either one of them 3 games in a row.

They're bad enough that you can "play til you lose".

There’s nothing to manage the workload of either of them for. You’re not saving Lundqvist for a 2 month playoff run, and Georgiev needs the reps and experience. The guys who is playing better should just play.

Watched on DVR. Another entertaining game. Seemed like our D-men were able to get the puck out of our own end with some regularity. Not perfect but better. Our overall squad seems to be pulling on the reins together as opposed to the disarray we watched v. BOS. By no means fantastic or great but better. Improvement is good.

Seems to me the 3rd start in a row hasn't been very good for either goalie.
