Owen wanted to pass out at dinner tonight because of DST. Was a huge pain in the ass keeping him awake another hour, but he also went to bed like a rock.

My son had a nice 3 hour nap yesterday from around noon until around 315pm. Went to bed normal time, between 7-730pm. Not sure when he actually went to sleep as once I was done rocking with him I booked out of the house for my hockey game. Anyway, little fucker woke up at 545am this morning bright eyed and bushy tailed. Hopefully in a few days that wake up time moves its way back into the 615-630am range again.

I still donít understand the point of going back an hour. Just leave it as is, day feels longer

I think this is actually the standard time. I think when we jump ahead in the spring is the real change in time.

I didn't know they ignored it, too. Yeah, that's a better choice.

Personally, if we're talking relocation to US places that ignore DST, I'm en route to Maui.

"Congratulations, your daughter has has been chosen as a member of the Dance Energy Competition Showcase Team, below you'll see the compulsory classes needed to maintain her status and prepare for events. Please pick a minimum of 4 disciplines, but more choices are also fine. Thanks again and we look forward to a fantastic competitive season, way to go Evelyn!"

Me: We can't do this. Baseball is $45 for the entire season, this is bizarre.

    Daughter: Cries

Me: Seriously hun, it looks cool but we can't afford it, I'm sorry.

    Wife: Cries

"Youth hockey fees will be around $2000 for the season"
Ah, slightly more than last year.

"Dance lessons cost $230 for the year."

This is not easy to admit but I'm 53 year old man and haven't missed an episode of "Dance Moms".
