Agreed. I think Shesterkin is easily more talented than anyone below him, and it's not really close. We can debate he hasn't been here long enough yet with accrued NHL data to back it up, but the eye test says it is so. Which is why everyone has contributed Shesty's move up the rankings.

 

There is still something to be said about how much to weigh talent observed versus experience and data to back it up. Personally, I would have waited a touch longer to move Shesty up ahead of Strome until he has had more games to back it up. Strome has been solid most of the season with the team, so even though I find Shesty immensely more talented and gifted I would have preferred a larger sample size. The difference in opinion and how to weigh these things is why the rankings are fun though. Majority rules will eventually get players to where they should be in the collective eyes of the board.
