How can a guy move down via a negative rating while injured?

Because DeAngelo and Buchnevich are performing on the ice and helping the team. When Zib comes back, I'm sure he will move back up the ranking

Our goalies are basically in a platoon (and are ranked 30th and 39th in NHL in save percentage) ... which is why I agree with neither being in the top ten.

I also factor in ice time in my rankings. I'm more likely to have a player (performing well) playing 18-19 minutes a night rated higher than one playing 15 minutes a night. So someone playing 0 minutes a night (for how long?) is an easy drop in the rankings for me

I guess my question is why not raise the players who you think deserve it over dropping an injured player down the rank?

I guess my question is why not raise the players who you think deserve it over dropping an injured player down the rank?

 

because I'm lazy and it's easier to just type -2 rather than +1 +1... but you're right and I could have done it that way. I definitely wanted to bump Buchnevich but not necessarily above DeAngelo
