Is no Miller a surprise? I'd be lying if I said I had paid a lot of attention to what the plans were for TC

Nah. Enrolled NCAA players don't generally join this tournament, if I remember correctly.

Right. They'd have to pay their own way. Just isn't worth it.

Kakko, Fox, Rykov, Shesty, Kravtsov, Keane, Robertson, Reunanen. That's a pretty badass group to send to Traverse City.

I think Miller threw a curve by paying his way to dev camp. But yeah, this one is a haul and a half.

I don't think these numbers are actual numbers. Fox was wearing #88 in a recent rookie photo shoot. It's hard to tell.

88 would be crazy fun for him, though. I actually hope he keeps it.

I half-think the idea here was to let Panarin come in with absolute certainty and not have Kakko pick a number until Panarin sales trailed off toward the end of the summer. A hair conspiratorial, sure.

I don't think I've heard of any of these centers other than Henriksson. Who are these guys and are they actually affiliated with the Rangers right now?

Newell is Rangers property. I'm guessing the rest are UDFAs competing for an AHL/ECHL two-way deal.

Nah. I think it has to do with making the team first. Rangers don't want to put any expectations on the kid. Kravstov seems to have #74 and Shesty has #31 (neither have been officially announced) but in order for Kakko to get #24 he has to take it from Boo. So let the kid make the team and see what happens.

They’re all wearing the same numbers they had in dev camp. I don’t think any of them really have a set number.

Make sense since he was #8 I believe and now it's Trouba's. I'm down for fun numbers. #88 would be cool.

Theyve been streamed for the last 3 or 4 seasons. I'd anticipate someone streaming them. NY Rangers didnt do anything last season (previously did MSG and Facebook) but the games were available for viewing.
