Maybe not when they guy has been trash and came into the year 5th on your depth chart...I'd go Allen or pull Binnington after one softie.

Maybe if there is something else behind the scene- like the guy is a complete mess, or hurt.

What’s his record following a loss? He deserves the start.

Too good of a series to end in five. Let's go six... or seven.

Ryan effing O'Reilly!!!

It's great to see him and the franchise succeed and I hate Boston and their fans. It's possible the Blues could win the Cup on their Home Ice, which will all but exorcise the demons which have plagued this franchise... forever!

Let's Go Blues

Chara has a broken jaw....status is up in the air for Game 5.

First reports yesterday mentioned he was done for the series but I cant see that happening in the Stanley Cup Final. If Stepan can play with a broken jaw so can Chara.

That can't be easy playing with a broken jaw and must hurt every time you are hit.

Teams that win game 5 win the series about 80% of the time

https://www.hockey-reference.com/playoffs/playoff-history.cgi

Interesting set of stats. Yes, a team that wins at home to go up 3-2 wins the series 80% of the time. But keep in mind, a team that wins at home to go up 1-0 has a 76% chance of winning. Also, a team up 3-2 would have a 75% chance of getting at least one heads on two coin flips.

As for Chara injury, if the Bruins can win the Cup with Steve Kampfer and John Moore playing regular shifts on D, we should be very close to contention...
