Granlund is better than Hayes, and is not a rental. Fiala was probably not on the table for Hayes.

Minnesota got very little for Neiderrider, Coyle and Granlund combined. They look like they are headed to oblivion to me. Sutter and Parise are old, Koivo is about done. Staal is a UFA and about done. That leave Spurgeon and Dumba and little else on their roster.

Good pickup for Nashville. For Wild, Parise and Suter have no movement deals, Zucker, Spurgeon, and Dubnyk have modified no trade. MN needs roster turnover - so getting Donato and Fiala gives them young talent.
