I'd seriously start opening conversations with Pittsburgh about him. Though they'd have a tougher time getting him on the right than on the left.

I don't think Pittsburgh would want him, but he might fit on a line with Brassard and, maybe, Pearson?

I'd love for him to be reunited with Brass - didn't even think about that.

I don't think we'd even get a stick rack for him any more...his value right now is about equal to his effort; DOG SHIT

The other thing to consider, with Zucc's value, is that there are only going to be 4-5 teams buying wingers, and he's not the best of the bunch. Depending on who is selling:

    Stone - OTT
    Silvferberg - ANA
    Nyquist - DET
    Johansson - NJD
    Simmonds - PHI

They could all be more valuable than Zucc, depending on what a team needs. But anyone who wants a top-6 playmaker would prefer Nyquist, Two-Way Silvferberg, PWF Simmonds, 4th liner Johansson...etc. etc.

I can't see a scenario where Zucc is better than a team's 3rd choice. Now maybe some will say that Zucc for a third is better than Nyquist for a 1st, but I think that's the market for Zucc right now. There's just a lot of expiring winger contracts on bad teams.

I still think they tried to trade Zuccarello last season and didnt get a first. I don't think that will change this season.

I don't know enough about Johansson, but Stone, Silfverberg, Nyquist, and Simmonds are all more attractive to GMs, IMO, than Zuccarello

I agree. A Grabner-ish return looks good at this point.

I don't think Johansson and Simmonds bring much at all, sadly neither will Zucc.

If my team was truly a contender I'd give up a late first for Simmonds. He brings everything that championship teams need. Zucc? Not so much.

Well it just depends, though I think Simmonds would get a pretty solid return.

But the point is that there are teams who might prefer them to Zucc, really limiting the market.

Most Flyers fans can't with for Simmonds to be moved and expect a low value return but they want him gone . He's been floating around all season with some going as far as suggesting he's playing hurt, again.

I mean maybe. But goals are valuable, and he's pacing 20+

I've always liked Simmonds edge to his game plus he has a great shot. That said, I do not want an injury on the roster. If he's nursing something, then he better come real cheap.
