That's brutal. Who's the last one that they drafted that scored 40 anywhere? Kovalev? Amonte?

Amonte, he was drafted before Kovalev. But they both got to 40.

Video nerd alert; if you play EA's NHL'94 Kovalev is simply the most talented player in the game. If you run simulated seasons, he will win scoring titles, MVPs and the Selke trophy. And he was a great talent, and universally liked by everyone he played with. But he was also a knucklehead and not clear how you could program that back then. Recall Mike Keenan one night grew so exasperated with him that he left him on ice for a 7 minute shift. After the game, Kovalev claimed he had no idea Keenan was furious, rather he simply thought he was having a great shift. Reason he was so great in the game is because the guy who drafted him, Neil Smith, was a consultant to EA when they designed the game, and he wasn't about to say anything but wonderful stuff about his own draft pick.

Ulf Dahlen and Mike Ridley carried my '94 teams. Until I pushed my brother through a window over a tough loss and Mom took it all away

Didn’t use the Rangers as much because they rated Breaser above Richter. Also used the Devils because Bruce Driver was a beast.

I loved that disparity in player rankings. Now, everyone is the same.

We'll yeah, Beezer was the better goalie when all was said and done I think.

great article this morning. the only beach the rangers will see this week is rye beach at the end of 287.

nice 5 day boot camp practice schedule on tap.

good to see this and kreider speaking up that it's what the team needs.

Yes saw that today from Larry Brooks and I was really quite surprised.

At Rangers practice. Zuccarello, Namestnikov, Buchnevich and McQuaid are all on ice. Namestnikov and McQuaid in red no contact jerseys.

Buchnevich said he’s hopeful he can play Saturday. DQ said all the guys are possible, but conceded McQuaid is probably a longer shot than the others.
    Summary: who knows

How can they even be thinking about putting McQuaid in the lineup? You putting him in instead of Shatty?

I can't get over that trade. It's John Scott level bad.
