Those teams have a window of more than 3 seasons. They shouldn’t be investing in Lundqvist unless it’s half price with a under-the-table agreement that he retires at seasons end.

Yeah, for a guy who doesn't catch your eye he sure is noticeable on the ice. He does a lot of things well. And the talk of his leadership traits and likeability bodes well. Seriously, if he is demonstrating many of Stepan's strengths, a legitimate good 2C, but also bigger, faster and better in puck battles... we have something here.
Bugg, Vesey's game is looking real good so far.
The Post says Howdy starting as 2C between Kreids and Zucc tomorrow. Too much, too soon? Hayes a non-entity.

I think it's deserved based on the first 3 games. I'm not the one to answer whether it's too soon or not, but if true Quinn obviously believes he can deal with it.
This is what a large portion of us wanted, right? An actual meritocracy, where guys who are playing well are rewarded for their efforts and name, age and size of contract isn't a factor.
I dont know why but I wouldve made that switch during the game, maybe to lessen the pressure.
Why David Quinn has already blown up Rangers top line

But for Thursday’s match at the Garden against the Sharks, Buchnevich will move to the left with Zibanejad and Fast while Kreider skates with Brett Howden and Mats Zuccarello.Quinn also said he is anxious to see the left-handed shooting Buchnevich on his natural side. The coach envisions No. 89 being more of a playmaker on the left. That may be what Zibanejad, more of a shooter than a dispatcher, requires.
oh yeah!... it's coming.

I like it. Not so sure about Fast on the 1st line, but giving Howden a chance with zuc and Kreids is awesome.
Im not saying he should or will last on the first line but outside of maybe Vesey, Fast has been our best forward so far this season.
Play your best guys, sit the under performers- hard to argue with that strategy.

Getting closer to moving Zibs to wing!
Yeah, hopefully that line can gel.
You can argue against it during a rebuild. Not like we are in game 7 of the ECF. But, it should be based off of both games and practices - Effort.
One thing to be trying and snake bit. It's another to give a half-ass effort and float around the ice.

Buch always performed best in the KHL coming off the left side.
I like this move

Zib isn't moving to wing doesn't make this team better, so I'm not sure that that excitement is about.
