Floppy disks. I asked my wife this the other day. Do you think kids today know what the save icon is and/or where it came from?

The software my company makes uses a floppy disk as our save icon (which is the norm, right?) and our clients are confused when we tell to save the file first.

Oh man, there it is in a nutshell. I'm a map nerd, I used to stare at maps all day long memorizing the roads and identifying places I haven't been to yet on my bike and later in my car, now with google maps are completely useless and a waste of space. The beeper served its purpose until the flip phone got cheaper and yeah do I remember hogging the phone line, made for a lot of long nights because that's when you could use the line for a long time

    Maps are the shit.
Winding down a mountain road looking at signs that tell you the nearest cities, only to look them up on the map's index and find out you're in E6 when you're supposed to be in D4.
