I just filled out my bracket and I have VGK going to the WCF. I might be fucked, or I might be brilliant.

This preshow is already the single best moment in the playoffs.

The game is being broadcast on AT&T Sportsnet in the Las Vegas area.

I expected it to be a low scoring game but not as low as it gets.

Yep, Vegas is the new best team to watch. What a game and it couldn't have been more fun.

Watching this game or any other playoff game makes me realize 2 things - 1) it sucks we weren’t good enough to compete and 2) I hate the way MSG is constructed, the liveliness of the crowds and being right on top of the ice all around the arena is unbelievable

The atmosphere in that arena is sick. Unbelievable that is the fanbase of an expansion team in the middle of the desert. The drumline with the led glasses and shirts were cool as well.

Sure could have. It's called scoring.

I remember we got into a debate about low scoring vs high scoring games one time. I think it was right before a playoff win vs. WSH where we won 2-1 and it was an incredibly exciting game so I had to rub it in your face lol

Low Scoring is intense. Every shot, every faceoff matters. The build up to a goal or to a save is extreme and every moment has you on the edge of your seat. Give me a 2-1 playoff game over 6-4 any time.

The same intensity can and often is produced with more scoring. Inherently, 3-2 is greater than 1-0 if for no other reason than 3-2 can offer added layers like game-tying goals, and go-ahead tallies.

Yea the “new” garden sucks. I was excited when they announced renovations, but it turned out to be pretty awful for the viewer. Especially in the upper rows where they’ve got TVs for obstructed views.
